Vote For Me! W Magazine

A panel of W editors and other fashion V.I.P.’s chose my submission for my favorite fashion trend, along with 19 other girls. Vote for my faux-fur photo shot by W magazines photo contest winner Angelo Kritikos!

“It isn’t easy living in the “Windy City.” Winter months in Chicago are unbearable at times, and any fashionista would rather freeze then surrender to wearing a generic winter coat. My favorite fashion trend is “faux fur,” not only does it keep you as warm as a real fur coat, but no animals had to be harmed for you to be warm and fashionable.”

I was shaking, I was so excited when I found out. It was the most life-changing phone call I ever received.” - Angelo Kritikos

Vote for my BFF!

Angelo Kritikos: maybe you’ve seen his work on a model comp card, in a magazine editorial, or even my blog’s background. Either way, he’s not your typical 20-year-old college student. Aside from attending school for digital photography, he is photographing some of the most stunning models from Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. It is no surprise he is now being recognized by “W” magazine as one of the top up and coming photographers. Kritikos is one of 20 photographers chosen for the first annual “W: The Art Project” contest. For months, hopeful photographers submitted their best work that illustrated the word “Obsession.” Kritikos reveals his obsession of “raw beauty,” which is illustrated in his photo of the natural beauty, AnneMarie.

It’s now up to the public to vote for Angelo so he can make it in the top five. After the top five are selected, a panel of judges will vote for their favorite. We have until January 17 to vote for him, so please go to http://theartcontest.wdesires.com/public-voting.php and vote for his photo daily. The winner will receive consultations with artist agency, Voltz Clarke, who will help assist and mentor the winning photographer.

Thanks!
